These planters are supplied without the support posts and are made specificially for the living green screens. They are ideal for clients who want the living screens to be located directly against a wall or fence to cover unattractive features.

For extra support against a wall, we can supply galvanised fixing brackets separately which will fix your greens screens securely against a wall.

Why we recommend Larch Planters

The  Larch planters are both produced to a commercial standard, and alhough larch is a more expensive wood option, they are designed and constructed to provide a very long life, with minimal maintenance. For maximun life and sustainability, we prefer to supply Larch planters for use with our screens, for 2 main reasons.

• Firstly they are all produced by local craftsmen, to order, from sustainably managed UK Larch woodlands.

• Secondly they are made to a high commercial quality standard to ensure maximum life and robustness. We use Larch, because unlike tanalised softwood planters, they outlast them by many years, and instead of using wood impregnated with toxic anti-rot preservatives, Larch produces a natural preservative and does not require treatment to prevent rot. Hence much better for the environment, as well as humans and other animals.
