Pyrus calleryana Chanticleer: The ornamental pear

A vigorous, dense deciduous tree with (Fastigiate)upright habit, excellent specimen tree for a small to medium garden.

Also looks superb as an avenue tree. Bears masses of brilliant white flowers in spring and the green leaves turn glorious shades of orange and red in autumn. 

They leaves of the ornamental pear are one of the latest tree species to fall.

It holds onto it’s leaves longer, and produces new ones earlier than most deciduous trees
