RGPro Horti 1

Mycorrhizal fungi

Contains beneficial arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi

Simply apply RGPROHORTI 1 at time of planting to establish the critical mycorrhizal fungi infrastructure, around which other beneficial soil microbes will gather in support of the plants for their entire lifetime.

Good soil conditions are essential for maximum growth and optimal yields. Undesirable soil conditions can lead to replant problems, which result in poor early establishment and plants unable to reach their optimum growth.

Plants with a functional microbial community can cope with biotic and abiotic stresses more efficiently, resulting in longer productive life and a healthier plants.

How Does it work?

Rootgrow contains arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) which associates with 90% of all crop plants.

They attach themselves to the plant's root system and grow out rapidly into the soil, searching for nutrients and water. They essentially become part of the plant's own root system.

These remarkable fungi effectively increase the uptake surface area of plant roots up to 700 times.

Additionally plant defence mechanisms are improved by this symbiotic relationship.

In short, plants colonised by AMF are healthier and significantly more efficient at aquiring water and nutrients from the soil.
